Suma Sarva, Founder & Executive Director

Suma is a passionate yoga teacher and founder of The Light Within Initiative, a nonprofit dedicated to making yoga accessible to all, regardless of background or income. Her mission is rooted in creating inclusive, healing spaces where individuals can connect with themselves and each other. Through her organization, she offers programs like community classes and workshops tailored to underserved populations.

With certification from the Napa Valley Yoga Center, Suma blends formal training with a spiritual practice. Her teaching emphasizes presence, self-awareness, and inner balance, drawing from both traditional yoga and her lived experiences. Her approach is shaped by her cultural background in subtle yet meaningful ways, bringing authenticity and a deep respect for the origins of yoga to her work.
